Sixth Street Pop Up and Gallery
Findrs/Keeprs - Preloved Fashion and more
From Friday May 22nd to Thursday May 28th, local Vancoverites and new comers, and tourists can check out the Sixth Street Pop Up and Gallery, FINDRS/KEEPRS. This is a pop shop that helps promote and sell local art pieces, locally produced interior decor and accessories and vintage consignment clothing. The Pop Up Shop and Gallery also withholds products from one of the hosts of the pop up, Brick and Mortar Living.
What is incredibly unique about this Pop Up experience is that it is purely driven by local talent. The local product includes artwork, interior decor product, handmade jewerly and accessories, and also lifestyle products as well. The shop also sells vintage consignment, which helps further to promote the branding of the event as a Finders, Keepers opportunity.
The event is essentially a "sister company" experience, as it was run and hosted by Brick and Mortar Living team member, Carlyle Chan.
Carlyle is a creative individual who explores the possibilities of creating visual and styling opportunities in unique spaces and set ups for shopping experiences. His past experience includes styling for companies such as Little Burgandy Shoes, and being a visual merchandiser for William Sonomas sister company, West Elm, as well as Used - House of Vintage. When Dimemond Mentality went to the Pop Up Shop, there was an incredible energy and vibrance about Chan, and how he felt so connected to this particular experience he was able to curate. This is only the beginning as Carlyle is making his mark in the world of curation and Pop Up shop start ups. Dimemond Mentality only sees more positive experiences and opportunities for Carlyle, as he continues to focus on creating and becoming a leader in curating unique experiences for customers and visitors to retail shops and other spaces within Vancouver.
You can follow Carlyle on his social media platforms:
Dimemond Mentality will also be collaborating with Brick and Mortar Living in the summer time and will be featuring them, their story, and the experience they've begun to create within the New Westminster community as well as Vancouver!
